Terminales Marítimas del Sureste, S.A (TMS) is a terminal located in Spain, Europe, with equipment and facilities designed to service cutting-edge vessels along trade routes in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Far East.
The terminal is equipped with 3 STS Cranes, 3 RTG cranes and 2 in and 2 out truck Gate lanes. TMS applied OCR technology by CERTUS for Waterside operations, Yard operations as well as Gate operations. OCR technology will enable that all containers are automatically traced, and all container details checked. By deploying process automation by CERTUS, the terminal increases the productivity of crane operations, reduces terminal errors and provides valuable information for decision making in operative organization matters. Through the Gate Automation, the terminal can process a higher volume of trucks and offer a better service to the trucking community.
