This new state-of-the-art cold storage facility located in Lebanon, Indiana, is one of the largest cold storage facilities in the US.
During the first half of 2022, CERTUS Automation has deployed the AutoGate for this new warehouse in order to automate the gate process for trucks IN- and OUT flow. The AutoGate solution is based on License Plate Recognition in combination with driver kiosks.

- Automatically verifying license plates against YMS data eliminates manual checks thus reducing errors and increasing gate transaction speed.
- Traffic flow management and gate handlings are seamlessly integrated with the yard management system.
- The limited tasks left for the driver at the Gate can easily be executed by the driver on the self-service kiosk.
- By having an automated gate, only truck visits that can not be automatically recognized need to be processed via an employee at the help-desk. All exceptions are real time available in a web client for the gate clerk.
