Bettolo Terminal Genoa
ITALY
Bettolo terminal is a container terminal located in the Genoa Mediterranean gateway. The terminal is equipped with an Automated Gate ad truck appointment system to avoid queues and allow fast truck turnaround times.
The OCR Portal installed by CERTUS Automation provides accurate and real-time information on all incoming and outgoing traffic. With state-of-the-art Line Scan Technology the portal provides high quality images from all sides of the container or trailer as well as the truck cabin.
In addition to the OCR Portal, CERTUS installed 3 Gate IN-lanes and 1 Gate OUT-lane with driver kiosks and Gate Control Equipment. A fully integrated CCTV solution with high quality camera’s spread throughout the entire terminal delivers a complete alarm and follow-up system, license plate recognition module, integration with an access control system, support for biometrics, CRM, ERP, and others.
CUSTOMER BENEFITS:
By deploying process automation by CERTUS, the terminal is able to track every truck and container in a digital fashion. This contributes to the terminals ‘online terminal’ where their customers can track their cargo online.
