Kramer Group continues long term relationship with CERTUS Automation
Kramer Group, one of the leading container logistics service providers in the Port of Rotterdam, continues the long-term relationship with CERTUS Automation. Kramer was the first customer of CERTUS in the Netherlands and their relationship goes back to 2004.
Kramer will be adding CERTUS’ leading Crane OCR technology to 4 Cranes operated at 2 different sites. In addition, CERTUS will upgrade Kramer’s container terminals with the latest state-of-art Gate OCR technology including line-scan cameras and AI. The Automated Gates of both the Rotterdam Container Terminal (RCT) and the Delta Container Services (DCS) will be upgraded.
André Kramer, CEO of the Kramer Group: “The Kramer Group continues to invest in its facilities and infrastructure to ensure the efficient handling of all of its customers. During the last 15 years, CERTUS Automated Gates have been indispensable in handling our growth. Now we will also expand the OCR technology to our waterside operations. In combination with the excellent support service of CERTUS, we will be future proof.”
Leander de Nooijer, CEO of CERTUS: “We are very pleased to continue the strong relationship with the Kramer Group. The 3 projects will help to keep Kramer’s operations running smoothly and will increase their safety level and efficiency. We look forward to finalizing these projects as well as continuing to support Kramer 24 x 7.”
