CERTUS Automation biedt innovatieve automatiseringsoplossingen voor containerterminals, magazijnen, distributiecentra, vrachtwagenparken en andere logistieke bedrijven. Als toonaangevende specialist op het gebied van optische tekenherkenning (OCR), beeldverwerking en softwareontwikkeling, ontwerpt, implementeert en onderhoudt CERTUS OCR-systemen voor de identificatie van containers, trucks en trailers.
Als Sales Engineer bij CERTUS Automation speel je een sleutelrol in het vertalen van klantbehoeften naar slimme, commercieel sterke technische oplossingen. Je bent van begin tot eind betrokken bij het offertetraject en zorgt dat alles klopt: inhoudelijk, technisch en commercieel.

Dit ga je doen:
- Klantvragen analyseren en vertalen naar concrete oplossingen
- Ontwikkelen van technische en commerciële voorstellen en calculaties
- Afstemmen van strategie en inhoud met Sales en technische teams
- Klanten begeleiden in technische keuzes en specificaties
- Zorgen voor een kloppend en compleet voorstel, van eerste analyse tot offerte

Wat je meebrengt
Je hebt een technische achtergrond (HBO-niveau), bent analytisch sterk en werkt nauwkeurig. Je voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving waarin prioriteiten kunnen verschuiven. Daarnaast breng je het volgende mee:
- Interesse in zowel techniek als commercie
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden (NL & EN)
- Minimaal 1 jaar relevante werkervaring in een technische rol binnen een B2B-omgeving
- Ervaring met CRM- en ERP-systemen
- Uitstekende beheersing van MS Office
- Je bent woonachtig in de omgeving van Sliedrecht en beschikbaar om regelmatig op kantoor te werken

You play a key role in translating customer needs into smart, commercially strong technical solutions. You are involved throughout the entire proposal process and ensure everything aligns—technically, commercially, and in terms of content.

What you will do
- Analyze customer needs and translate them into practical solutions
- Develop technical and commercial proposals and cost calculations
- Align strategy and content with Sales and technical teams
- Support customers in technical decisions and specifications
- Ensure a complete and accurate proposal, from initial analysis to final offer

What you bring
You have a technical background (Bachelor’s level), are
analytically strong, and work accurately. You are comfortable in a dynamic
environment where priorities may shift. In addition, you bring:
- Interest in both engineering and commercial aspects
- Strong communication skills (Dutch & English)
- ·At least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical role within a B2B environment
- ·Experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Excellent MS Office skills
- You are based in the Netherlands (Sliedrecht area) and available to regularly work from the office
