Accurately managing, registering and controlling visit flows of such a large facility can be quite a challenge. CERTUS Automation has installed an Automated Gate at the DSV Milton facility, helping them to stay in control, balance traffic peaks thus matching operational (off)loading resources at the warehouse, and reduces moves and idle time of trucks and cargo on the site.

The CERTUS Automated Gate solution for DSV Milton empowers three Gate In-lanes and one Gate Out-lane, self-service Driver Kiosks with driver interaction, A Front & Rear licence plate recognition (LPR) system, Gate Control Equipment and a Gate Management System to remotely control the gate and have insights in their operational performance through reporting tools. DSV Milton has concluded a Service Level Agreement with CERTUS in order to get 24/7/365 support from the CERTUS Service Desk.
