Kaohsiung Port’s Seventh Container Terminal (KC7) is now one of the most advanced and automated terminals in Asia. CERTUS Automation successfully delivered comprehensive OCR and Gate automation solution for Evergreen Marine Corporation (Taiwan) Ltd., transforming KC7 into a future-ready hub for global shipping.

Project Overview

The terminal operator relocated operations from the Fifth Container Terminal to KC7 to meet growing demands for ultra-large container ships. The new facility accommodates five 22,000 TEU vessels simultaneously and is designed for full automation, ensuring higher efficiency and reduced operational risks.
